Welcome to the Kendal-Rinteln Association's website. Kendal's twin town, Rinteln, lies in the north of Germany, on the river Weser. It is 60 km to the south-west of Hannover, and 25 km north-west of the famous town of Hamelin. 

Read about some of the twinning contacts and exchanges that have taken place since the Twinning Charter was signed in 1992.

The Kendal-Rinteln Association is able to provide advice on twinning matters, and arrange contacts with people or clubs in Rinteln. We may also be able to help with financial assistance for visits involving people in full time education. The Association is grateful for financial assistance from Kendal Town Council.
